Rick Norris Crown Corv-8

In this view, the electric fan relay can be seen beside the rad tank. Rick pointed out that the copy of the original Crown sticker on the top panel of the air intake was made by my fellow Canadian and Corv-8 champion, Jay Dover.

Radiator "hoses" are made from 1 3/4" exhaust tubing. Rick hand bent pieces of 1/2" EMT conduit to create a pattern and then went to a muffler shop and had them bend the pipe.

Hours were invested in the bending and cutting of stainless tubing and the installation of fittings on both the brake and clutch master cylinders. The AN fittings use the 37 degree single flare which is advised for stainless lines.

The result is very professional looking, but Rick says he'll be happy if he never has to do it again!

The Tilton clutch master cylinder activates a McLeod hydraulic throw out bearing. We'll show you that set up a little later in the feature. The power brake booster is a 7" street rod unit from Master Power Brakes.
