Mike Petrilla's turbocharged Corsa coupe

I am using 140 exhaust manifolds, a 1 1/2" exhaust crossover pipe in place of the stock 1 1/4" pipe, and a DynoMax Super Turbo muffler. An e-Flow impeller was installed in the turbo and the turbo housing and all exhaust pipes have been Jet Hot coated. I am using a progressive 45 DCOE Weber carburetor, a Safeguard knock control system, and a wastegate, located ahead of the exhaust manifold on the driver's side, as seen in the pictures at the right and below.

With the engine done, I then built a dolly for the body and sent it out to be painted the original Glacier Grey. The body shop did a beautiful job. They told me there were no previous repairs done to the body and that the paint was original. While the body was being painted, I rebuilt the suspension and collected all the trim pieces I needed. When I ran across pieces that were not available (either as reproductions or too scarce as NOS) I had the originals re-plated or re-anodized.

14-inch Ralley wheels with custom 4 1/4-inch backspacing

I limited the suspension modifications to adjustable shocks, nylon front sway bar bushings, larger and stronger universal joints, and quick steering arms. I had the limited-slip differential and 4 speed transmission rebuilt to stock specs. The fuel, brake, and electrical systems are all new. I installed a 1966 front spoiler. I had Camaro-style ralley wheels made with a custom backspacing for the car. They are 14 x 6 with a 4 1/4" backspace. I am running 215/60 x 14 tires all the way around.
