Mike Downey's Turbo Corsa

Mike's Corsa left the factory with an impressive list of options, as listed below left. The stereo multiplex adapter seen under the radio and ashtray in the photo was installed recently. It is a 1965 NOS 3-knob unit purchased in the original GM box with all the hardware, brackets and instructions.

Telescopic steering and multiplex unit

As you can see at right, the velour seat upholstery Mike had installed in his early days of ownership has been replaced with the correct 1965 black vinyl upholstery as originally delivered. Note the interior custom deluxe seat belts installed in the rear positions.

All late model sport coupes offer somewhat limited rear seat leg room, particularly when the front seats are occupied by tall passengers. The seating arrangement in the Corsa is best described as 2+2; two regular and two occasional passengers.
